Zoltan Berky, DDS, MA
I truly love practicing orthodontics, I am grateful to God, and humbled by the opportunity to have a positive effect on the lives of my patients. My passion for orthodontics grew out of my own personal experience with orthodontic care as a teenager. I thoroughly enjoy getting to know my patients. I understand that for almost all of them, receiving orthodontic treatment is a positive, life-changing experience, and I look forward to helping my patients celebrate their everyday lives with beautiful, healthy smiles.
Education
I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I earned my undergraduate degree and Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Following dental school, I served as an officer in the United States Army Dental Corp for 13 years. During that time, I received my certificate of orthodontics and master’s degree in oral biology from the University of Louisville. I also served in the North Carolina National Guard for nine years and retired at the rank of Colonel in 2005. I’ve been practicing in the Piedmont Triad for 22 years.
Experience
To stay up to date with the latest treatments and techniques in orthodontics, I regularly participate in continuing education opportunities. Each year, I complete far more than the minimum amount of credits in a variety of different courses, including SureSmile® training and Foundation of Craniofacial Education seminars.
I am a board-certified orthodontist, a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, and an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists. In addition, I maintain memberships with the following organizations:
- American Board of Orthodontics
- American Association of Orthodontists
- American Dental Association
- North Carolina Dental Society
- Southern Association Orthodontists
- Guilford County Dental Society
- High Point Dental Society
